Your short description is what people see when they walk into the room or glance at you. Normally this contains your name. For players it should ALWAYS contain their names. Rule: Don't muck with this for players.

For imms, it can be what you want. It's convenient to have your name in it, but the obscure among us have little nicknames. Like Keel's been Loser for a long time. Don't ask ME about that.

It's practical to make these not take up screens. Strong Suggestion: If you change your short, keep it to a single 72-char line of text or not much more. Ok, so my example is about 88. We're not so busy yet. When there are actual players I'll set it back some.
