To set line wrap, use the set command. For example, set wrap 75.
75 is useful when you want to make sure single-line text will fit into a telnet window, and multi-line text breaks ok for them. Keel likes having his lines wrapped about 3/4 across the screen, which is about 150 chars for him. Pick your poison.
Don't stick carriage returns into your room (or other) descriptions, unless you want to put something purposely on its own line. BoxMUD got past that idiocy. Keel is great.
If you input the entire desc as one line, the editor will automagically break the lines up for ease of reading. Your desc will have the first line look like line 1, and your second and subsequent lines will have stars. The stars are soft linebreaks.
This meshes with the wrap command above. All the descriptions that are input as one long line will wrap where the player sets their lines to wrap. Voila! No stupid "justify" command. No automatic insertion of double spaces after periods. (ugh!) Lovely descriptions! *does the happy dance*
